Aarhus Central Station will undergo an extensive renovation between 2025 and 2026 as part of Banedanmark's strategy to electrify and modernise the Danish railway infrastructure. The project, executed by Aarsleff Rail A/S, includes the renewal and extension of platforms, lowering of tracks to enable overhead current, and installation of new digital signalling systems.
In this context, UniSeals supplied Futura Infra™ cable chambers measuring 1200 x 1200 mm and 1500 x 1500 mm, approved by Banedanmark, along with custom steel frames and recessed covers. These components are vital to ensure reliable, future-proof cable routing that supports the station’s new electrical and digital systems.
