Aarhus Central Station will undergo an extensive renovation between 2025 and 2026 as part of Banedanmark's strategy to electrify and modernise the Danish railway infrastructure. The project, executed by Aarsleff Rail A/S, includes the renewal and extension of platforms, lowering of tracks to enable overhead current, and installation of new digital signalling systems.
